Mike Wade, ChFC

President and founder of Wade Financial, Inc., Mike began his practice in 1983 after graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management. Mike's primary focus is to partner with businesses and individuals for the accumulation, protection, and transfer of their estates.

In order to better serve his clients, Mike has earned a number of professional designations through the American College, a leader in the education of financial services. He received his CLU (Certified Life Underwriter) in 1991 and his ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) in 1992. 

Mike has been a part of the Carolinas all his life. He was born and raised in upstate South Carolina. He has ties to both the upstate and and also to Charleston, where much of his wife's family lives. One of Mike's most thrilling achievements was being a member of the 1981 National Championship Football team at Clemson University. He  used his love of sports and his desire to have a positive role in young people's lives by coaching numerous teams on which his 3 children played.

Mike and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children, Alexis (married to Kent), Michael and Leah.
